Anatomy
- Origin
- Humeral head: medial epicondyle; ulnar head: olecranon and posterior border of the ulna
- Insertion
- Pisiform, hook of the hamate and base of the 5th metacarpal
- Nerve
- Ulnar nerve (C7-C8)
Actions
- Flexes the wrist
- Adducts (ulnar deviates) the wrist

- The ulnar nerve enters the forearm between its two heads (cubital tunnel).
